Technician (with a possibility of doing a PhD):

The Neuroinformatics Laboratory at the Nencki Institute of Experimental Biology, invites applications for a technician position.

Duration – approx. 3 years

The Laboratory of Neuroinformatics is seeking to recruit a technician interested in neuroscience to assist and learn in vivo electrophysiology experimental techniques. The position is part of an NCN funded project, there is a possibility that the position will be transferred into a PhD position. Experimental work will be carried out in both anesthetized and freely moving rats and full training will be given within the laboratory. The position is available for approx. 3 years and the candidate should ideally have the following:

  • An interest to learn in vivo electrophysiology
  • Some previous work with rodents (ideally)
  • Some experience with signal processing (ideally)
  • Good fluency in English

The position is full-time, with an expected start date February 2018. Salary will depend on experience.
